    Stream through the Countryside is my favorite shot from this week! It has great depth of field and exposure! Very interesting angles and lighting are found in almost all of your photos which is great! I would love to see more close up shots similar to the Inside the Clock Tower at Bath Abbey shot!

    Out of all your photos, I really love your "Stream through the Countryside" and "Tomb in Lacock Abbey." I really love the perspective and depth of field in "Stream through the Countryside." I also really like the light from the window shining down on the tombstone and the choice to make the photo black and white. It added lot of depth and contrast to the photo. The only critique I have is on your "Doorway into Lacock Abbey's Cloister." I feel like if the people in the background weren't in the photo, it would be a lot more dynamic. Can't wait to see your final portfolio!

    the picture of the dog next to the private sign is precious and was captured at the perfect time I love that. I also love the picture of the rocking horse at lacock abbey, the exposure of it gives the whimsical toy an eerie feeling which I think is a really cool effect. for the selling pictures flower I think it could have a little less exposure and it would make the picture stronger by adding some contrast between the sky. great pictures this week!!

    i think your strongest photo in this bunch is the one of the coffins in Lacock Abbey. it is such a haunting photo in black and white. Great photo!

    I cant get over the picture of the dog wanting to give you his tennis ball!! The composition of this photo is perfect and you snapped the photo right when the little guy raised his head. The light shining through the water in the Bridge in Lacock shot is wonderful because it illuminates the rocks on the bed of the river. The stream through the countryside photo is a bit bright at the top half of the photo. The inclusion of the matted down grass makes this picture seem very fresh and alive.

    My favorite photo of this week is the Tomb in Lacock Abbey image. I LOVE how moody and mysterious this is -- keep this up in your future images. The lighting is very soft yet still carries an ominous feeling to it.

     Whenever I need to take some time for myself to relax or be creative I go to what I call  my outdoor studio .  It's a little patio in my backyard where I can paint and feel secluded.  Inspiration comes easily here since I can look out across the rolling field and watch birds flitting from tree to tree.       I presented this using Prezi, because I like the idea of letting the viewer have the choice to explore on their own.  Included are some found objects, a snippet of an interview, photos, a sketch, a painting, and a video of a very peculiar bug.

Tanguera & Violin Concerto Reflection

• How would you describe the venue (setting for the building, lobby, theatre space)? The venue for Tanguera was contemporary.  Glass, metal, and stone elements came together to form this modern look.  The street art murals were also very contemporary.  That was the first time I had seen art like that in such a fine establishment. The theatre was not ornate like the Barbican.  The stage would have a few props like tables, or laundry lines.  The backgrounds would change from a building facade to a simple lit wall.  Nothing was too over the top.  It helped you to focus on the performers.  The venue for the Violin Concerto was extremely ornate and classical.  St. Martins was light and delicate.  Detailed molding covered the ceiling and walls embossed in gold.  Quite different from the theatre space at Tanguera that was black and dark.  I couldn’t help but think of all the generations of people dressed to the nines who migh...

Week Three Theatre Reflection

• How would you describe the venue (setting for the building, lobby, theatre space)? It was set in multiple locations.  Macbeth moved us from outside in a garden to the inside of a church.  There were blog-like papermache sculptures in the garden.  I felt like I was in a mystical world.  I had never experienced a play in which you move around.  I think it made it that much more engaging and immersive.  The sets, props, and costumes showed signs of the artist’s hand.  I loved that they looked hand made.   • How did the actual architecture/design of the space make you feel and/or affect your experience? It was definitely very immersive.  I particularly liked the special effects of the audio that sounded like a battle scene.  It surround the walkway that funneled the crowd onto the next scene.  The fog, battlecries, and clashing of swords made me feel like I was in the thick of a war.  I feel like this could have ...
